Philosophy

There are a lot of travel blogs out there, each with its different spin on the must see's, the secret sights, where to stay, what to eat etc.

This blog isn't about that. If you're looking for inspiration on where to go and what to see, you've come to the wrong place.

This is a 'How to' guide on the logistics and practicalities of visiting the sights without having to spend the $$$ on a tour chauffeuring you around and dictating what you see and for how long.

Example: You're going on holiday to Rome. At the bare minimum you want to see the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, The Spanish Steps, the Roman Forum, Pantheon and a visit to the Vatican.

This blog assists you by informing you how to get to these places, what you need to do to gain access to these sites and the best areas to stay convenient to visiting certain sites.

This isn't ground breaking information - it's readily accessible in books or on the Internet...if you know where to look. But it did take a lot of time to find, months of sorting through websites and books so that when my feet hit the ground, I knew exactly what to do and how to do it.

I hope this blog assists you and gives you confidence to travel without the shackles of tours and to experience every destination to its full potential.
